Summer is for festivals, patios, messy hair and road trips. And for anyone who has ever been on a road trip, there are a copious amount of rest stops. And rest stops mean two things: pee break and food! The unfortunate thing about rest stop food is that the majority of it is processed, high in sugar and salt and generally not super healthy. And maybe s little road trip junk food is okay, but if you eat that all day, every day, I’m gonna bet that you aren’t going to feel super great. So here are five road trip snacks that are not only delicious, but portable and super healthy.
